Heavy logistics

The last 20 kilometres are the easiest.

A 160-tonne component is only useful if it reaches you. Our Tallinn site sits 20 km from Muuga Harbour and 60 km from Paldiski Port, with direct heavy-haul road access and no urban bottlenecks. Oversized components roll from our floor to roll-on/roll-off vessels without a single permit-critical pinch point, and ship across Europe and the Nordics.

Engineering review

An engineer reads your drawing before anyone quotes it.

We read drawings critically. Every RFQ gets a Design for Manufacturability review by a production engineer: weak points flagged, welding sequences optimised, cost drivers identified — before the price is on paper. If the drawing has a problem, you hear about it before the price does.

EU origin

Made in the EU, 20 km from a deep-water port.

First In Service manufactures in Tallinn, Estonia — an EU member state and NATO member. For buyers rebalancing supply chains away from distant or single-source regions, that means EU origin documentation, no customs complexity inside the single market, short and predictable transit to Nordic and Central European sites, and a facility you can audit in a single day trip.

Nearshoring is not only about politics. A 40-tonne weldment made 400 km from your plant behaves differently in a schedule than the same weldment made 8,000 km away — in lead time, in freight cost, and in how quickly a problem gets fixed.

Second source & overflow capacity

Most buyers don’t want a new supplier. They want to stop depending on one.

The common reasons companies contact us are not dissatisfaction with an incumbent. They are single-supplier risk on a critical component, a capacity ceiling during a peak, a supplier qualification programme that needs a second approved vendor, or a part that is chronically late or badly priced.

Yes. Fabrication, machining, surface treatment, assembly, and Factory Acceptance Testing all happen in one 18,000 m² facility under one contract and one quality system.

Processes 135/136 (MIG/MAG), TIG, and SAW with penetration welding up to 100 mm, certified to EN 3834-2 and EN 1090-2.
