Questions procurement teams ask
Are you PED certified?
Yes. Pressure equipment is manufactured to PED 2014/68/EU with full documentation compliance.
What pressure equipment do you manufacture?
Pressure vessels, tanks, piping modules, and skids for process, oil & gas, and offshore applications.
What materials are used for pressure equipment?
Carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, and super duplex, selected to the service conditions and PED category.
What NDT is performed on pressure equipment?
VT, PT, MT, and UT to the scope required by the PED category and client specification, performed by certified partners.
What documentation ships with pressure equipment?
PED conformity documentation, material certificates (EN 10204 3.1, 3.2 on request), and NDT reports.
PED compliance as a production method, not a paperwork sprint
Pressure equipment manufacturing is regulated for a reason: the failure mode is not inconvenience, it is energy release. PED 2014/68/EU compliance therefore cannot be assembled retroactively from whatever records survive production — it has to be designed into the build. We classify the equipment category at the quoting stage, agree the conformity assessment route, and structure production so every hold point generates its record as it happens: heat numbers verified at material receipt, weld procedures and welder qualifications matched to each joint, NDT scope executed per category requirements.
Duplex and super duplex demand particular discipline — heat input control during welding, verified ferrite balance, and pickling that restores the passive layer. These are process parameters we control and log, because a stainless vessel that corrodes in service is a materials failure that started in the workshop.
Pressure testing — hydraulic or pneumatic per specification — closes production, witnessed where required. The vessel ships with its complete PED documentation package, ready for conformity declaration and commissioning without a single missing certificate holding up your schedule.
