What is the maximum workpiece size First In Service can handle?

Heavy fabricated products up to 35×7×7 metres (L×W×H) and 160 tonnes. CNC machining: Ø 2,700 mm diameter, 13,000 mm length, 4,500 mm height. Boring mill X-axis travel up to 13,500 mm.

What CNC machines does First In Service operate?

FERMAT WRF 130 and WRFT 130 boring mills, ZAYER XIOS 4000 milling centre, SC27 vertical turning lathe (Ø 2,700 mm), TOS HULIN SKIQ 20, PUMA 700LY II horizontal lathe, plus additional boring mills, milling machines, and lathes.

What welding processes are available?

TIG (GTAW/141), MIG/MAG (GMAW/135/136), and SAW (121) with penetration up to 100 mm. EN 3834-2 certified. Materials: carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, super duplex, titanium, Inconel, Hastelloy.

What plate rolling capacity does First In Service have?

Plate rolling up to 40 mm thickness and 3,000 mm (3 m) width. We roll cylindrical shells, conical sections, and custom curved profiles for pressure vessels, tanks, and structural applications.

What surface treatment standards does First In Service offer?

Complete surface treatment from automated shot-blasting to industrial coating systems compliant with NORSOK M-501 and C5-M extreme anti-corrosion standards for subsea and offshore environments.

Does First In Service provide assembly and FAT testing?

Yes. Complex assemblies, FAT-tested modules, precision bearing installations, system commissioning. Complete MDR documentation: material certificates 3.1/3.2, NDT reports, dimensional logs, FAT protocols.

We machine and fabricate parts built to withstand extreme pressures and corrosive marine conditions. From azipod components to structural elements for offshore platforms. Fabrication, machining and corrosion protection are all carried out in-house — the coating is not handed to a third party. Weight: 100 kg – 50,000 kg. Envelope: Up to 25 × 5 × 5 m (L×W×H).
