About First In Service OÜ
First In Service OÜ is a specialised contract manufacturer and heavy engineering subcontractor based in Tallinn, Estonia, operating since 2002. We deliver precision-welded, machined, and assembled products for the most demanding industrial applications — from subsea pressure vessels to defence-grade precision components.
Proactive DFM Engineering
We don't just follow blueprints. Our production engineers conduct rigorous Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews on every project to identify potential failures before they happen, optimise welding sequences to minimise distortion, and reduce your overall manufacturing costs. This proactive approach means fewer revisions, faster delivery, and lower total cost of ownership.
Certified Quality Systems
Our operations strictly adhere to ISO 9001:2015 (quality management), ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management), EN 3834-2 (comprehensive welding quality requirements), and EN 1090-2 (execution of steel structures). We maintain PED documentation compliance for all pressure equipment. Every product leaves our facility with complete documentation.
Absolute Material Integrity
We guarantee 100% material traceability from raw stock to finished product. Material certificates (3.1/3.2) accompany every delivery. Final weld integrity is verified through comprehensive NDT testing — Visual Testing (VT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Testing (MT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) — conducted by our certified inspection partners.
Uncompromising Scale
Our 18,000 m² workshop accommodates products up to 35×7×7 metres and 160 tons. Overhead cranes, heavy lifting equipment, and purpose-built workstations allow us to scale resources to fit your project timeline and dimensional requirements without compromising on quality or precision.
Strategic Baltic Location
Located at Valukoja 12, Tallinn — just 20 km from Muuga Harbour and 60 km from Paldiski Port. Direct heavy-haul road access without urban bottlenecks enables seamless roll-on/roll-off shipping for oversized components up to 160 tons. Competitive EU manufacturing costs combined with Nordic-standard quality and direct sea access to Scandinavia, Germany, and all major European ports.
Environmental Responsibility
Active waste management, chemical safety protocols, and emissions monitoring are integrated into our ISO 14001 certified operations. We continuously work to minimise the environmental impact of our manufacturing processes while maintaining the highest production standards.
