Pulp & paper

Pulp & Paper

First In Service supplies precision spare parts and processing components for pulp and paper machinery, where the cost of a stopped line dwarfs the cost of the part. Components run from 200 kg to 25,000 kg and up to 25 × 5 × 5 m in carbon steel, stainless and duplex, manufactured in Tallinn with full material traceability.

When the machine is stopped

Every stopped hour is unrecoverable revenue.

Continuous production lines have one economic reality: every hour the machine is stopped is revenue that cannot be recovered. The component that failed is rarely exotic — a roll, a housing, a vessel, but the supplier who can quote it accurately on Monday and deliver it correctly is worth considerably more than the supplier who is ten percent cheaper and two weeks slower.

What we supply

Processing components and shutdown-critical spares from one site.

We manufacture rolls and roll bodies, processing machinery components, digester and vessel scope, frames and structural assemblies for pulp and paper mills — machining to Ø 2,700 mm and 13,000 mm at ±0.02 mm, fabricating to 160 tonnes, with PED-certified pressure equipment where required. Because fabrication, machining and surface treatment are under one roof, a repaired or replacement component does not queue behind three separate suppliers.

Typical scope

Rotating parts: Rolls, roll bodies, cylinders, shafts
Pressure scope: Vessels, tanks, digester components to PED 2014/68/EU
Structures: Frames, platforms, machine structures
Spares: Fast-turnaround replacement components

Materials

Corrosion-resistant: Stainless, duplex, super duplex for process chemistry
Standard: Carbon steel, wear-resistant grades

FAQ

Questions pulp & paper buyers ask

What pulp and paper components does First In Service manufacture?

Processing machinery components, rolls and roll bodies, pressure vessels, tanks, digester components, frames and structural assemblies, plus fast-turnaround spare parts.

How quickly can you deliver critical spare parts?

An engineer replies within 1 business day and a firm quote follows within 5 working days. Actual delivery depends on scope and material availability — for shutdown-critical parts, tell us the outage date in your enquiry.

Can you manufacture pressure equipment for pulp mills?

Pressure vessels, tanks and piping modules to PED 2014/68/EU in carbon steel, stainless, duplex and super duplex.

What is the maximum roll or cylinder size you can machine?

Up to Ø 2,700 mm diameter and 13,000 mm in length, with tolerances to ±0.02 mm.

Do you work with stainless and duplex for corrosive process environments?

Stainless, duplex and super duplex are processed routinely, with heat-input control and verified ferrite balance during welding.
