What to include
- Drawings or a 3D model — PDF, STEP, DWG, DXF, IGES
- Quantity and whether this is a one-off, batch or series
- Material and grade, or the standard it must meet
- Tolerance-critical dimensions, if any
- Required certification: EN 1090-2, PED, class approval, NORSOK
- Target delivery date and destination port

What files can I send with my RFQ?
PDF, STEP, STP, DWG, DXF, IGES or ZIP files, sent by email to info@firstinservice.ee or directly to an engineer. If your files are too large to email, say so and we will send a transfer link.
How fast will I get a response?
An engineer replies within 1 working day. A firm quote follows within 5 working days of receiving complete technical specifications.
Do I need an NDA before sending drawings?
No, it is not required for a quote. Working under NDA is routine. Ask first and we will sign your NDA, or send ours, before you send any drawings.
What information should I include if I do not have a finished drawing yet?
Describe the component, approximate dimensions, material, quantity, and required standards in your email. Our engineers can work from a sketch or specification at the quoting stage.
What is First In Service's typical lead time?
Lead time depends on scope and material availability and is stated in the firm quote, which First In Service sends within five working days of a complete specification. For shutdown-critical parts, give the outage date in your enquiry so the schedule is planned around it.
