Equipment & Machine Park
First In Service operates an extensive CNC machine park designed for heavy components, long shafts, and complex geometries. Our equipment handles workpieces up to Ø 2,800 mm diameter, 13,000 mm in length, and 4,500 mm in height, with tolerances down to ±0.02 mm.
Boring Mills
FERMAT WRF 130
Heavy-duty floor-type boring mill. X-axis travel 13,500 mm, Y-axis 4,000 mm, Z-axis 900 mm, W-axis 730 mm, V-axis 900 mm. Our largest machine, capable of machining the heaviest industrial components including marine propulsion housings, energy sector casings, and mining equipment frames.
FERMAT WRFT 130
Table-type boring mill. X=4,200 mm, Y=2,500 mm, Z=2,100 mm. Ideal for medium-large components requiring multi-face machining in a single setup.
FERMAT TK6513
Floor-type boring mill. X=3,500 mm, Y=2,000 mm, Z=1,600 mm. Versatile workhorse for a wide range of boring and milling operations.
MICROMILL HBM4
Horizontal boring mill. X=2,200 mm, Y=1,600 mm, Z=1,600 mm. Precision horizontal machining for medium-sized components.

Bed-type CNC milling machine. X=4,000 mm, Y=1,500 mm, Z=1,400 mm. High-rigidity bed-type design for heavy milling operations on large workpieces.

Vertical Turning Lathes
SC27 with Mitutoyo Linear Scales
Heavy-duty vertical turning lathe. Table diameter 2,500 mm, maximum workpiece diameter 2,700 mm, maximum height 1,900 mm. Equipped with Mitutoyo linear scales for precision measurement during turning operations.
TOS HULIN SKIQ 20
Vertical turning lathe (operational from March 2026). Table diameter 2,000 mm, max workpiece 2,300 mm, max height 2,200 mm.

CNC vertical turning lathe. Table diameter 1,600 mm, max workpiece 2,000 mm, max height 1,200 mm.
Horizontal Lathes
PUMA 700LY II
CNC horizontal turning center. Maximum turning length 3,250 mm, maximum diameter 1,000 mm. Y-axis capability for off-center machining. Ideal for long shafts, propeller shafts, and cylindrical components for the energy and marine sectors.
Plate Rolling
Plate rolling capability for steel plates up to 40 mm thickness and 3,000 mm (3 m) width. We roll cylindrical shells, conical sections, and custom curved profiles for pressure vessels, tanks, piping, and structural applications. Materials include carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, and wear-resistant steels.
Welding Capabilities
EN 3834-2 certified welding operations performed by qualified welders across multiple processes.
TIG Welding (GTAW / Process 141)
Gas Tungsten Arc Welding for high-quality root passes, thin-wall components, and critical joints on stainless steel, duplex, super duplex, titanium, Inconel, and Hastelloy. Precise heat control for corrosion-critical and pressure-rated applications.
MIG/MAG Welding (GMAW / Processes 135/136)
Metal Inert Gas and Metal Active Gas welding for high-productivity fabrication of carbon steel and stainless steel structures. Primary process for heavy structural fabrication with high deposition rates on components up to 35x7x7 m and 160 tons.
SAW — Submerged Arc Welding (Process 121)
Submerged Arc Welding for deep-penetration joints up to 100 mm. Used for longitudinal and circumferential seams on pressure vessels, thick-wall tanks, and heavy structural members.
