First In Service OÜ is an Estonian contract manufacturer in Tallinn delivering heavy fabrication, precision CNC machining to ±0.02 mm and mechanical assembly under one accountable scope. From an 18,000 m² single-site workshop we build welded and machined products up to 35×7×7 m and 160 tonnes, certified to EN 1090-2, EN ISO 3834-2 and PED 2014/68/EU. One supplier owns the finished geometry — and the documentation that proves it.

Our capabilities

What we do

Simplify your supply chain with a flexible, customer-centric manufacturing partner. We adapt our production capacity to your specific timelines, offering three core disciplines under one roof to take your project from raw material to a fully commissioned, ready-to-install system.

Scale changes what precision means. A ±0.02 mm tolerance held across a Ø 2,700 mm turned face is a deviation of roughly 0.0007% of the diameter, and the parts carrying it range from 10 kg balanced rotors to 50,000 kg welded marine structures — a delivered weight span of more than 5,000:1. Keeping both ends of that range inside one 18,000 m² building removes the transport, re-fixturing and re-inspection steps that normally sit between a fabricator, a machine shop and a coating hall.

Why First In Service

We don't just build components. We build to documented tolerances.

When late deliveries mean lost revenue and failed parts mean catastrophic downtime, you need a manufacturing partner that leaves nothing to chance.

We name the standard editions we work to, because they are checkable. Welding quality follows EN ISO 3834-2, currently in its 2021 edition, and structural steel execution follows EN 1090-2. Pressure equipment is designed to EN 13445 under the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU, where equipment above the Article 4 category thresholds cannot be CE-marked on a manufacturer's declaration alone. Offshore coating follows NORSOK M-501, in its seventh edition since 2022, which according to Standards Norway targets the ISO 12944-1 high-durability range — more than 25 years to first major maintenance — and requires Sa 2½ surface preparation with soluble salt contamination below 20 mg/m².

Where a project requires it, work is carried out to classification society requirements — DNV, Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas and RINA — with the inspection and documentation scope agreed before the first cut.
