160 tonnes. 35 metres. 20 km to the ship.
Heavy fabrication, precision machining and mechanical assembly under one accountable scope. One supplier owns the finished geometry — and the documentation that proves it.

What we do
Simplify your supply chain with a flexible, customer-centric manufacturing partner. We adapt our production capacity to your specific timelines, offering three core disciplines under one roof to take your project from raw material to a fully commissioned, ready-to-install system.
Services
Sheet metal, heavy fabrication & welding
Eliminate structural weak points with certified precision. Operating across an 18,000 m² workshop area, we deliver heavy fabricated products up to 35×7×7 m (L×W×H) and 160 tonnes. Quality is verified through full material traceability and NDT (VT, PT, MT, UT) by certified partners. Backed by EN 3834-2 and EN 1090-2 certifications, our welders utilise processes including 135/136, TIG, and SAW (up to 100 mm).
Precision CNC machining & turning
Tolerances down to ±0.02 mm, built to perform flawlessly under extreme stress. First In Service's machine park handles heavy components, long shafts, and complex geometries — turning and milling parts up to Ø 2,700 mm, 13,000 mm in length, and 4,500 mm in height. Powered by heavy-duty FERMAT boring mills (X: 13,500 mm, Y: 4,000 mm), vertical turning lathes (up to Ø 2,700 mm), and horizontal lathes (up to 3,250 mm).
Complex assemblies & mechanical integration
Plug-and-play delivery. We hand over working systems, not just a box of parts. First In Service delivers complex assemblies and fully FAT-tested modules for demanding industrial applications. From precision bearing installations to fully commissioned units, we assemble, verify, and deliver with full documentation.
Challenges conquered across sectors
Delivering heavy welded and machined structures to global industries where failure is not an option. These are our core focus areas — our capabilities extend far beyond to any sector that demands certified precision manufacturing. Figures shown are delivered scope; facility capacity extends to 35 × 7 × 7 m and 160 tonnes.
We don't just build components. We build certainty.
When late deliveries mean lost revenue and failed parts mean catastrophic downtime, you need a manufacturing partner that leaves nothing to chance.
Why buyers choose us
Battle-tested expertise
We are a specialised contract manufacturer and heavy engineering subcontractor delivering precision-welded, machined, and assembled products for demanding industrial applications.
Proactive DFM engineering
We don't just blindly follow blueprints. Our production engineers conduct rigorous Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews to identify potential failures, optimise welding sequences, and reduce your overall manufacturing costs.
Certified quality systems
Our operations strictly adhere to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EN 3834-2, and EN 1090-2 standards, alongside PED documentation compliance.
Absolute material integrity
We guarantee full material traceability from prototype to series production. Final weld integrity is ensured via comprehensive NDT (VT, PT, MT, UT) conducted through our trusted, certified partners.
Uncompromising scale
With 18,000 m² of space and lifting capacity up to 160 tonnes, we easily scale resources to fit your project's timeline and massive dimensional requirements.
Seamless heavy logistics
Strategically located in Tallinn just 20 km from Muuga Harbour and 60 km from Paldiski Port. We offer direct, heavy-haul road access without urban bottlenecks, ensuring seamless roll-on/roll-off shipping for oversized 160-tonne components across Europe and the Nordics.
Environmental responsibility
Active waste, chemical safety, and emissions management built into our ISO 14001 certified operations.

Standards we operate by
The highest certifications ensure consistent quality and open doors to regulated industries.
